At The Boathouse Barking CIC, we are committed to promoting sustainability and protecting the environment. We recognise the importance of preserving natural resources and reducing our impact on the planet for the benefit of current and future generations.

To achieve our sustainability goals, we have implemented several initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint, conserve energy and water, and minimise waste. These include:

Energy Efficiency: We encourage all users of the studios to only use lighting were necessary and to check the building at the end of the day to ensure all lighting and other energy efficient equipment that isn't in use, is switched off to reduce our energy consumption.
Sustainable Purchasing: We prioritise purchasing products and services that are environmentally friendly and socially responsible.
Education and Outreach: We are committed to educating our staff, customers, and the wider community about sustainability and encouraging them to adopt similar practices.
