Natalie joined the Boathouse in October 2024, and it’s been wonderful having her on board. She shares her experience of being part of the riverside venue team and its vibrant atmosphere.
The Boathouse Studios is such an incredible place to work. It feels like home and being surrounded by family. From the first day, I was welcomed with open arms, big smiles and warmth. Not at any moment did I feel uncomfortable. Funnily enough, it felt as though I’d already been working here for some time and I fitted right in.
The Boathouse Studios not only work hard to create great experiences, we care about the wellbeing of the team.
We are spot on with making sure that every event held at the studios meets the expectations of our guests, whilst keeping in mind that every event is and will be different but also making sure it's one to remember.
It’s amazing to see different cultural experiences and events in one place. It’s like a melting pot which is incredible to witness and be a part of.
The Boathouse Studios is also a great place to network and meet incredibly talented people, from writers, designers, musicians, caterers and other entrepreneurs. There are too many to mention.
Film events are held here which brings not only adults but children together. I must say the prices are very reasonable. I bought two tickets for my nephew and I to watch the Disney film Coco in early November. Squash and water was FREE of charge. Biscuits, cartoon juices, tea, coffee and hot chocolate cost 50p. People struggle to bring their whole family out to the cinema to watch a movie due to the cost, but look no further as the Boathouse Studios offers a cost effective community space.
I feel so blessed to work here. When you find a job you enjoy, it makes all the difference.
Thank you The Boathouse Studios
